<-- This is me. I really really like Firefly.
I also really need a car.
In my defense, I didn't set out to name my car Serenity. (I don't actually have the car yet. But I will soon...it's complicated).
Things just happened...
It really started with this conversation that I had with my mom:
Me: "So I found a car that I think that I'm going to buy."
Mom: "What kind of car?"
Me: "It's a 1982 Rabbit. It's pretty. [My friends] are selling it and they'll hold it for me. They're going to give it to Pick'n'Pull."
Mom: "Huh."
Me: "I mean, come on, I've done the research. Get that car running, treat it right, and it'll last forever."
Mom: "So not running now?"
Me: "Not so much..."
And, I'm not going to lie, I love Kaylee. Part of me wishes that I was more like her. I think that she's a great role model for women (despite the fact that she's fictional) and I really wish that I lived an exciting life on a spaceship like her! (Is it obvious yet that I'm only awake due to massive amounts of caffeine yet?). And part of my goal in life is to make everyone's life a little bit more surreal.
Plus, have you looked at a 1982 Rabbit? They look like Fireflies.
So, of course, it had to happen.
Yes.
So, to make it even more insane, I'm making a blog about my car named after a spaceship in a sci-fi series that was canceled after 14 episodes.
While living with my parents and my dog named after a character from a 1960's sci-fi series.
I'm that big of a dork.
Post over for tonight. Good night.
